Worked with the natural essences of Vanilla, this suave and greedy composition is the symbol of the brand Les Senteurs Gourmandes. It is at the same time regressive, sensual, feminine, and soft. We are the first perfume house to have dared this single fragrance Eau de Parfum yet complex. Enriched with several hundred different aromatic compounds, the Eau de Parfum Vanille de la Réunion seduces today by its balanced and emotionally charged olfactory construction.
Among the four olfactory universes that inspired us (traditional vanilla, travel diary, childhood memories, the orchard), the Eau de Parfum Vanille de la Réunion has naturally imposed itself in the family of Traditional Vanilla.
It must be said that it is THE vanilla of reference. It is also the most used in the world. Black vanilla, fatty, supple with delicate and floral perfumes, favoring the strong warm notes of cocoa.
During his return to Spain in 1521, Cortes made discover this black pod to Charles V. It was in 1664 that it arrived at the French court for the first time. Louis XIV succumbed to its aroma and ordered that vanilla plants be cultivated on Reunion Island, the name given by the first French settlers in homage to the royal family, better known today as Reunion Island. This attempt ended in failure, the technique of fertilization of this magnificent orchid that is vanilla still remaining a mystery. But, in 1841, on Reunion Island, a miracle happened...
We select high-quality pure ingredients from the surrounding nature and natural vanilla extracts from Madagascar and Mexico. They are combined with 100% natural alcohol, guaranteed without phthalate to obtain compositions with sincere notes that come to life on the skin.
In the respect of traditions, 21 days of maceration are necessary to guarantee a balanced olfactory construction. This work allows the subtle alliance of all the ingredients. Particular care is also given to the glazing and filtration stages which determine the stability and constancy of the compositions over time.
