Oud possesses a great cultural significance because of its use in traditional incense and perfumes, and it is also mentioned in one of the world’s oldest written texts – the Sanskrit Vedas from India. Oud is a woody fragrance that merges patchouli and cedarwood which give a smoky character to the composition. Cardamom, nagarmotha, and olibanum contribute depth and complexity to the top note while the heart includes cedarwood, leather, and patchouli. Woody notes, amber, and musk in the base provide the elegant silage on skin.
